english self assesment

Throughout the fist quarter in English my grade has gone up and done a lot. Just about all of

my homework, projects, and essays where all passed in on time. Although most of my essays an

homework I got 80’s or above on the vocabulary quizzes I did very poorly. I got a 10 my lowest grade

in English on my first quiz and than on the second one I got a 70. I should have taken the time to make

up my first quiz grade up to at least a 70 but because I didn’t it greatly affected my grade. Another

thing that hurt my grade greatly is the video critique of “A Doll’s House.” I had a c on that assignment

and that brought my grade down as well.

Although I have taken many classes to challenge myself this year I don’t think I am working as

hard as I can in this particular class. I think that this quarter I need to aim to get a higher grade than a

B. I was aiming to get at least an 88 the first quarter but I didn’t get it so now I have to work twice as

hard in order to get the grade I want. I will work a lot harder on all of my homework and study more

on the vocabulary quizzes and if I fail them again I have to make them up right away so that this way

I can pick my grade up. It’s a new quarter and were starting over new and fresh so it’s time to step it up

so I can get an A in this class.
